Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she was working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate. Psaki later served as deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki also worked as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012, serving as the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 February, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment by the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement for Carney on May 30th, 2014. In 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and was there until the end of the Obama administration.
